About:
Head of Industrial Property and the Fight against Counterfeiting Unit, the European Commission (EC). Since joining the EC in 2001, has worked on a wide range of issues related to building & functioning of the Single Market as well as on energy policy. Amaryllis holds a PhD in law and political theory and an LLM from Harvard Law School. She lectures at the Law Faculty of the KU Leuven and has authored a book and academic articles. Before joining the EC, Amaryllis practised law at Cleary Gottlieb.
