Evelina is the Head of Policy Strategy and Legal Counsel at Samsung Electronics, based in Brussels. She is a trained lawyer with creative and entrepreneurial spirit. Having spent seven years in private legal practice – including at Sidley Austin and Morrison Foerster – Evelina ventured into specialist journalism: she established and managed the European arm of global regulatory news service PaRR, part of the Financial Times group at the time. In early 2015, Evelina joined Samsung, where she supports President Corporate Affairs Europe who leads Legal, Public and Corporate teams in the region. Evelina works closely with colleagues in Brussels, at the HQ and in European subsidiaries – on legal matters as well as strategic outreach with senior global, EU and national policy leaders and decision makers.

Dr Neliupsiene has been an Ambassador, Lithuanian Permanent Representative to the EU since August 2015. She previously served as the Chief Adviser on Foreign Policy to the President of Lithuania, Ms Dalia Grybauskaite. In this role, Dr Neliupsiene coordinated questions related to the agenda of the Council of the EU. Ambassador previously worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lithuanian embassy in Belarus, Parliament. She has taught at the Institute of International Relations and Political Sciences since 2006. Ambassador has completed law studies at Mykolas Romeris University, international relations and diplomacy studies at Vilnius University. She holds a PhD, having defended her thesis "National consciousness and statehood formation: CIS experience” in 2009.

Ada is currently transitioning from her role as Head of Office of Member of the European Parliament Antanas Guoga (Lithuania) to becoming a co-founder and CEO of a peer to peer platform based startup in Vilnius. For two consecutive years, Ada has led #SWITCH! – the largest ICT and entrepreneurship event in the Baltics with more than 10.000 participants. She was also in charge of setting up Coder Dojo movement in Lithuania – a network of volunteer-led coding clubs for children. Ada previously interned at the UN in Nepal and Mexico and was awarded International Parliamentary Scholarship of the German Bundestag. Ada studied political science in Germany and in the UK. She is passionate about technology, gender issues, international politics and modern art.

Renata is a member of the Sullivan & Cromwell Litigation Group where her practice focuses on antitrust counseling and merger clearance. Renata joined the firm following a distinguished career in the US government, including leading the Antitrust Division at the Department of Justice twice as Acting Assistant Attorney General and serving that division for more than 15 years. Her other roles in the Antitrust Division include oversight of the criminal program as Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Criminal and Civil Operations, Chief of the Networks and Technology Section, and as a trial attorney. Renata also served as Senior Counsel to the Chairman of the US Federal Communications Commission, where she advised Chairman Genachowski on transactions pending FCC approval. Renata is recognized as a leading and influential antitrust lawyer, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property matters in high-tech industries.

Karolina is an attorney at a law firm JUREX in Vilnius (Lithuania) where she specialises in procurement law. She has practiced law since 2009. In April 2016, Karolina was elected to the Board of the Lithuanian Young Bar Association (LJAA). When Karolina passed the Bar exam in 2016, she was the youngest attorney at law in the country. She holds MA in law from Mykolas Romeris University.

Loreto is Legal Officer for International Business, IP and Privacy at AKKA Technologies. She previously spent more than 10 years at Intel Corporation, where she was a lead attorney for the Service Providers division worldwide as well as a senior IP legal counsel representing Intel's interests on copyright, patent and standardisation policy and R&D activities. Loreto started developing expertise in commercial contract drafting and negotiations, in several languages both under the common and continental legal systems, back in 2000 when she joined EMC Computer Systems as a legal counsel for Europe and Latin America. Loreto holds MA in Law from the Universities of Granada, KU Leuven and Université Libre de Bruxelles; she is admitted to the Spanish Bar since 1998.

Carina is a Senior Consultant at CEG Europe, providing economic advice on State aid, competition, litigation, and regulation. Previously, she worked at PwC Netherlands as economic and strategic advisor. She specialised in State aid and helped clients getting approval by the European Commission for state supported projects, by providing analyses such as Market Economy Operator tests. She holds a M.Sc. in Economics from Maastricht University. A German native, she is working in English, Dutch, and German.
