Debora Pāvila

Partner at Law Firm Vilgerts in Latvia. Debora has over 10 years’ experience of advising clients on the full range of Latvian and EU competition law issues, including cartel investigations by Latvia’s Competition Council, commercial agreements and distribution agreements, abuse of dominance, compliance training, economic regulation (e.g., the Unfair Retail Practices Prohibition Law) and competition-related litigation. Her contentious work includes proceedings before administrative and civil courts of Latvia of all instances, as well as before the Court of Justice of the EU. She also was a visiting lecturer in Internal Market law, Riga Graduate School of Law. She has master’s in law (University of Latvia and University of Oxford) and a Diploma on Competition Economics (King’s College London, UK).
