Gianni leads the global competition law and merger control policy of AkzoNobel. After interning at the US Federal Trade Commission in New York in 2005, he moved to Brussels in 2006, where he worked at Latham & Watkins and Hogan Lovells until he joined AkzoNobel in 2018, working from Amsterdam. He is also a Non-Governmental Advisor to the International Competition Network and a General Editor of the Journal of European Competition Law & Practice.
