Hanna Anttilainen

Head of Unit  C.1: Antitrust in Telecoms at the European Commission’s DG COMP. She leads Article 101 and 102 investigations in the electronic communications sector, including standard essential patents. Previously she was Head of Unit responsible for mergers in the energy, environment, paper and car industries. Hanna has been at DG COMP since 2011, seven of those years in the role of manager. Prior to that, she worked for 13 years on competition law matters at Herbert Smith in Brussels.
