Marius Juonys

Partner of law firm Ellex Valiunas and a head of Competition Team. Marius is solely dedicated to competition-related matters. Besides, along with practicing competition law, he teaches competition law in Vilnius University. His 20 years of experience in this area covers most of the competition-related issues.  He and his team were involved in all major competition cases over past decade. Marius is recognised as one of the most experienced practitioners by all major legal directories (Chambers Europe, Legal 500 EMEA, Global Competition Review).  In addition to legal practice and academic activities Marius has served as an expert-member in various working groups designated by Lithuanian authorities for drafting of legislative proposals in the area of competition law and market liberalisation, including working group for implementation of the Damages Directive.
