Director, Legal Services at the Autoriteit Consument & Markt (ACM) - Netherlands Competition Authority since 2004. From 1999 to 2004, Monique held management positions in the Legal Department’s Competition Unit. Prior to working at the ACM, Monique worked for World Bank projects and was legal advisor to the competition authority of Panama. She also worked as a competition lawyer for six years, in Brussels and in the Netherlands. Monique started her career as a trainee at the Legal Service of the European Commission.
